The white grape variety originates from Spain. Synonyms are Albillo de Granade, Albillo Real, Albillo Real de Granada, Albillo Real Extremadura and Albillo de Granada. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2021, it originates from a presumably natural cross between Hebén x Folha de Figueira. It must not be confused with the Albillo Real variety (with the synonym Albillo de Granada) or other Albillo varieties. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
