The wine question of the day
What is the name of the tasting form in which it is known which wines are involved, but not in which bottle or glass they are?
Your answer:
Sorry, that's not the right answer!
Correct answer is: Half-blind tasting
Excellent! that is the right answer.
Half-blind tasting
A form of wine tasting in which the wines are known (producer, origin, wine type, vintage). However, due to concealed labels, it is not known in which order they are tasted or in which glass they are. This form is often used at wine seminars or private tastings. In contrast, in a blind tasting, very little to no information is known. See also under wine evaluation and wine address.
