Znovin Znojmo

The Moravian joint-stock company "Znovín Znojmo A.S." or winery has its headquarters in Satov (Schattau). This company, one of the largest producers in the Czech Republic, produces five million litres of wine annually. This corresponds to approximately 3.5% of the annual Czech consumption. It produces a wide range of varietal and branded wines and sparkling wines from the best locations in the Znojemská wine region. The predicate wines are marketed under the label "Terroir Club". The products mature in the Moravian Cellar in Satov, where there is also a large wine archive. Among others, the famous Sobes vineyard in the National Park Thayatal is also owned. The cellars for the production of white wines are located in Primetice, which includes the famous Jesuit cross cellar from the 18th century. The red wines are vinified in the cellar of Jaroslavice (Joslovice). The archive cellar there contains the oldest Czech wines dating back to the 1945 vintage.
