Zitania

The white grape variety (also Olivette) with reddish berries originates from Israel. The parentage is unknown. The ampelographer Pierre Galet (1921-2019 suspected that it is identical to the Cypriot variety Xynisteri (with Hebron synonyms pointing to the origin Israel). No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
