Zinthiana

The red grape variety is an interspecific new breeding between Zinfandel x Norton. It contains genes from Vitis aestivalis and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 2001 in the USA by the breeder Lucian W. Dressel. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
