The winery is located in the municipality of Gumpoldskirchen in the wine-growing region of Thermenregion (Lower Austria). Viticulture in the traditional family goes back to the year 1790. A Heuriger is run in the spa town of Baden. Since 1998, the business has been run by Harald Zierer jr. and his wife Klaudia. The vineyards cover 12 hectares in the Badener Weg, Eichkogel, Hausberg, Katzbühel, Mitterwiese, Rasslerin, Rodauner, Schatzberg and Sonnenberg vineyards. The vineyards are 80% planted with the white wine varieties Rotgipfler, Zierfandler, Chardonnay, Riesling, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Bl anc, Muskateller and Grüner Veltliner, and 20% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The vineyards are cultivated in a near-natural way, for example with cover crop.
