The winery is located in the municipality of Sulzfeld (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. In 1970, Theo Luckert acquired the former tithe farm, which had existed since 1558. It is managed by the brothers Ulrich and Wolfgang Luckert and their families. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Maustal and Sonnenberg as well as Berg I (a prime piece in the single vineyard Cyriakusberg). These are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner with the four varieties Yellow, Green, Red and Blue Silvaner (50%), Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The small Creutz vineyard is planted with ancient vines dating back to 1875 ( ungrafted, see picture). In order to reduce yields, all vines are trained in the cordon system. All vineyards are naturally greened. Since the 2013 vintage, the vines have been cultivated according to the certified guidelines of organic farming.
