The winery "Azienda Agricola di Daniele Zamuner" is located in the municipality of Sona (province of Verona) east of Lake Garda in the Italian region of Veneto. The family-run farm is dedicated to the production of grapes and one hectare of olives for the production of olive oil. The wine cellar was built in 1981, and apart from the ground-level reception rooms, the structure of the whole complex is underground. The company is managed by Daniele Zamuner. The oenologist is A. Musatti (owner of Enoconsulting di Erbusco in Brescia), the cellar master is Enrico Trezza (son-in-law of the owner). The vineyards cover five hectares of vineyards planted with Pinot Nero, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Meunier (black Riesling), Sangiovese, Corvina and Chardonnay. Spumante Metodo Classico (bottle fermentation, long yeast aging) is produced to 80 to 85%, the top products are "Brut Bianco" and the Rosé Riserva "Villa La Mattarana". The rest are still wines such as the DOC wines Bianco di Custoza and Bardolino, and IGT (country wines). Balsamico (Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena) is also produced. Annually, about 50,000 bottles of wine are produced (including more than 40,000 spumante), of which about 15% are exported to Germany, Austria, Japan and the USA.
