The winery is located in the 23rd district of Liesing in the Mauer district in the south of the Austrian capital Vienna. Attached is the family-owned Heurige, which has already been awarded the "Eco-label for Tourism" several times. The business is managed by Richard Zahel. The vineyards comprise 25 hectares of vineyards in the main area in Mauer in the Roth-Dürren and Leiten vineyards, in the famous Nußberg in the Prussian, Rosengartl and Langteufel vineyards on the slopes facing the Danube, and more recently in Oberlaa. About 60% of the vineyards are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and the rarity Orangetraube, as well as 40% of the red wine varieties St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which is very high for Vienna. In addition, genetically valuable grape material of the rare varieties Orangetraube and Red Riesling is cultivated in our own sample vineyards. The vineyards are consistently cultivated according to ecological principles, which is symbolized by a butterfly in the winery's logo
