The red grape variety (also Fuefuki) is an interspecific new variety between Mills x Angelo Pirovano. The hybrid was crossed at the Yamanashi University in Kofu on Honshu in Japan. In 2016, 20 hectares of vineyards were designated under the name Yamanashi; it is not certain whether this is the variety Yamanashi 7 (statistics Kym Anderson).
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
