Woodbridge

The "Woodbridge Cellars" winery in the town of the same name in the Californian AVA area of Lodi in the Central Valley was founded in 1979 by the legendary Robert Mondavi (1913-2008) and named after the town of Woodbridge, where the winery is located. In 2004, when the entire Mondavi empire was sold, this winery also went to the multinational Constellation Brands. In June 2025, Woodbridge, including brand rights, facilities and associated infrastructure, was acquired by the Multi Wine Group.

Vineyards & grape varieties

The grapes are sourced from our own and extensive contract vineyards, predominantly from the Lodi AVA area. Other Californian origins are also used; many wines therefore bear the designation of origin "California". The white wine varieties Chardonnay, Moscato (Muscat Blanc), Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris), Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir are processed.
