Winegrowing professions

See under winegrowing customs (with old professions/functions and customs) and vinegrowing education (with current professions/functions).

In connection with viticulture and wine enjoyment, there was and still is a wealth of old customs, often of only regional significance. However, many old professions have died out or are no longer necessary due to new technologies. However, some old customs are still practised today. The current professions and functions in viticulture and the relevant institutions and training centres are listed under viticulture training.
