Wine Cooper

Originally, the cooper was the barrel master of a winery, responsible for the production, installation and maintenance of the barrels. The name is derived from the cooperage (barrel production). Later it developed into the responsibility for the cellar work during the winemaking process. Instead, in Germany, the new professional title of wine technologist was introduced from 2014.
