The designation "Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC", protected by origin within the European Union, for a quality wine pressed from various grape varieties cultivated in the form Gemischter Satz. In the federal capital Vienna, this is the typical wine served at Heurigen (Buschenschank). In order to continue the old tradition, special specifications for a Viennese Gemischter Satz were laid down by an association. The logo consists of the letters "WGS" and a stylised eye. A sustainable cultivation method is required.
