The winery is located in the municipality of Erlenbach am Main (Mainviereck area) in the heart of Churfranken in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The former Erlenbach Municipal Winery passed into the ownership of the Wengerter family in 1999 and is run by farm manager Rainer Wengerter. The affiliated restaurant "Winzerstube Wengerter" in the Röllfeld district offers culinary highlights with "Asparagus and Wine" in spring and "Geese and Wine" in autumn. The largest classic car meeting on the Lower Main also takes place here once a month during the summer months. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard sites Hochberg (Erlenbach a. M.), Jesuitenberg and Schalk (Rück), Schlossberg (Klingenberg), Lützeltalerberg (Großwallstadt), Bischofsberg (Großheubach), as well as Deutschordensberg (Röllbach).
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
