The winery is located in the municipality of Gols (Neustiftgasse 59) in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). The family has been growing grapes for over a hundred years. Today, the winery is run by Andreas and Christine Wendelin. The vineyards cover 19 hectares of vines in the Altenberg, Edelgrund, Goldberg and Ungerberg vineyards in the Neusiedlersee nature reserve. They are 75% planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, and 25% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Weißburgunder, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The total of 100 kilometres of vine rows are cultivated by hand from winter pruning, tying up, thinning out to harvesting.
