The winery is located in the municipality of Dobl-Graz in the Unterberg district of the Austrian wine-growing region of Western Styria. The origins of the family business lie in the purchase of a farm by the Florian family in 1958. The winery is run by Joachim Florian. A wine tavern is attached. Since 1960, a vine nursery has been operated, where all common white and red wine grape varieties are cultivated. Viticulture began in 1970 with the planting of a 0.5-hectare vineyard. Today, the vineyards cover 18 hectares of vines in seven municipalities in Western Styria. These include the Kehlberg (Graz), Reiterer Hube, Schullerstephl and Steinreib vineyards.
