The winery is located in the municipality of Deutschkreutz near the border to Hungary in the Austrian DAC region of Mittelburgenland. The traditional family has been involved in winegrowing as a sideline for several generations. A Buschenschank (wine tavern ) is attached. The farm is managed by Thomas Weber. The vineyards cover four hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt, as well as with the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Grüner Veltliner. The environmentally friendly cultivation follows the rules of organic viticulture. The premium wines of the house are the barrique-aged red wine cuvée "Viteus" (Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt) and Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch. A Frizzante (sparkling wine) is also produced.
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
