A wine produced by the Cooperative Cantina Produttori Cormòns in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The winery is located 20 kilometres south of Cormóns, the centre of viticulture in the Collio Goriziano DOC area. The approximately 120 members cultivate about 385 hectares of vineyards. The "Wine of Peace" was created in 1985 by Luigi Soini, the director of the winery. On the vineyard "Vigna del Mondo" with 2.5 hectares of vineyards, around 600 grape varieties from all over the world are cultivated and from 1985 to 2012 the extraordinary cuvée "Vino della Pace" was pressed. The labels were designed annually by three renowned artists. All the world's heads of state and thus also the Pope (that's about 200) were sent three bottles of peace wine every year. There are still many vintages stored in the cantina, which have since increased in value considerably. In 2019, it was decided to create a "Vino della Solidarietà" as a new brand to symbolise the importance of social and ethical values. See also under special wines.
