Vino della Pace

A wine produced by the Cantina Produttori Cormòns cooperative in the Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The winery is located 20 kilometres south of Cormóns, the centre of viticulture in the Collio Goriziano DOC area. The approximately 120 members cultivate around 385 hectares of vineyards. The "Wine of Peace" was created in 1985 by Luigi Soini, the winery's director. Around 600 grape varieties from all over the world are cultivated on the "Vigna del Mondo" vineyard with 2.5 hectares of vines, from which the exceptional "Vino della Pace" cuvée was made from 1985 to 2012. The labels were designed annually by three renowned artists.
