The white grape variety (also V 53-035) is an interspecific new variety between Alden x Verdelet. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis labrusca, Vitis lincecumii, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed at the Horticultural Research Institute of Ontario in Canada. The variety is mainly used as table grape. It is grown in the province of Nova Scotia. In 2016, four hectares of vineyards were designated (Kym Anderson statistics).
