A possibility now offered by numerous wineries in many wine-growing countries to take over the sponsorship (so to speak "rent") of vines or a vineyard of a certain size. The contractual conditions vary widely. In most cases, the winery's minimum contribution is one to two bottles of wine per vine and a corresponding textual mention of the sponsor on the bottle label.
However, some wineries offer the opportunity to work in the vineyard from pruning to harvesting. Some wineries also allow you to have a say in how the wine is vinified. However, this can of course only be done in the form of a vote among all sponsors if there is a sufficient quantity.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
