The winery is located in the municipality of Cornas in the northern part of the French wine-growing region Rhône. It was founded in 1997 by Vincent Paris after four years of oenological studies with one hectare of vineyards. Today, the vineyards cover 9 hectares, 6 of which are in the Cornas AOC area (Patou, Reynard and Sauman) and 1.5 in the Saint-Joseph AOC area. IGP wines are also produced. They are planted with the white wine varieties Roussanne and Viognier, as well as with the red wine variety Syrah. The sustainable cultivation is carried out according to ecological principles with complete renunciation of insecticides and chemical fertilizers. Great importance is attached to impeccable grape material. Quality enhancing measures in the vineyard are short pruning, defoliation and thinning out (green harvest).
