Viña

Spanish designation (also Viñedo) for a vineyard or also situation. The term Viña is also often used as a prefix to a branded wine and used to be a designation for wines from a smaller area or vineyard and thus also an expression of "higher quality". The Vino de Pago level introduced in 2003 corresponds to a now official site oriented quality designation; see the quality levels for Spain. A list of keywords relevant to vineyards is included under Rebfläche.
