The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Zala Gyöngye x Kazachka. Synonyms or breeding-number are EB 10, Novo Eger EB 9-1 and Novo Eger 1. It contains genes of Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Hungary in 1970 by the two breeders József Csizmazia and J. A. Kostrikin. In 2016 no stocks were recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
