VIF Der Weinhandel

The franchise system specialises in the distribution of high-quality wines from all over the world in cooperation with partners. The company was founded in 1990 by Frank Roeder at the suggestion of the company FROVIN (Saarbrücken). The company, which specialised in high-quality cheeses mainly from France and Italy, was looking for suitable wines to complement its range. At the same time, VIF-Weinhandel took over the assortment design for FROVIN as well as the training of all sales staff. The VIF headquarters in Völklingen (Saarland) is responsible for the selection and import of the products and stocks them in the central warehouse. It also looks after the Saarland market. In addition to FROVIN, another seven franchise partners are now independently active in their region.
