Vidvizhenets

The white grape variety is a complex interspecific new variety between Severnyi (Severny) x a pollen mixture of Muscat Vengerskii (Muscat Fleur d'Oranger), Muscat Belyi (Muscat Blanc) and Muscat Alexandriiskii (Muscat d'Alexandrie). Synonyms are Vuedvizsenyec, Vydvizhenets, Vydvijenetz and Vyovizenets. Genes of Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrid was crossed in 1947 by Ya. I. Potapenko in Rostov. It is cultivated in Russia in the Rostov region. In 2016, 271 hectares of vineyard area were designated (statistics Kym Anderson).
