Vernaccia Nera del Valdarno

The red grape variety (also Vernaccia Nera di Valdarno) comes from Italy. It is one of the many varieties with Vernaccia in its name. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2008, it is probably a natural cross between Sangiovese x unknown partners. In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
