Verduschia

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Verdusca, Verdina, Verdella and Verdurella. In the VIVC catalogue, the name is only given as a synonym for the variety Verdicchio Bianco (so it would not be an independent variety). Under this name, it is mainly cultivated in Veneto, as well as in small quantities in the regions of Apulia, Liguria and Tuscany. In 2016, nine hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
