DOC area for red wine in the Italian region of Piedmont. It comprises only 11 hectares of vineyards and is therefore one of the smallest wine-growing regions in Europe. The zone includes the municipality of Verduno and parts of La Morra and Roddi d'Alba in the province of Cuneo. If the grapes come from classified vineyards, Vigna followed by the name of the vineyard can be indicated in case of defined smaller yields. The wine is made from at least 85% Pelaverga Piccolo (not to be confused with Pelaverga) and a maximum of 15% of other authorised varieties.
