Valenciana (grape variety)

Frequent part of the name of synonyms or grape variety names of mostly unrelated grape varieties from Spain and France. It is therefore not a genetically related grape variety family:

Valencí Blanco = Beba
Valenciana, Valenciana Tinta, Valenciana Tinto = Bobal
Valenciana Barbera, Valencí = Damaschino
Valenciana Tinta = Mandón
Valenciana, Valenciana Blanca = Beba, Síria
Valenciana Blanco, Valenciana Ceuti, Valenciana Real, Valencí Blanco = Beba
Valenciana Tinta, Valenciana Tinto, Valencia Tinto, Valenci Noir = Valencí Tinto

Valenciana or Comunitat Valenciana (Valencian Community) is also the name for the autonomous community of the three provinces of València, Alicante and Castelló, located on the Mediterranean coast; see Valenciana for this.
