It covers one hectare of vineyards in the municipalities of Curinga, Feroleto, Gizzeria, Lamezia Terme, Maida, Pianopoli and San Pietro a Maida in the province of Catanzaro. Grape varieties authorised in the region may be used. Varietal wines must contain at least 85% of the variety in question, up to 15% may be other varieties. For the wines, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed differently for each wine type, but no ageing period.
I have great respect for the scope and quality of the wein.plus encyclopaedia. It is a unique place to go for crisp, sound information on terms from the world of wine.Dr. Edgar Müller
