The white grape variety is a Hungarian new variety between Hárslevelü x Traminer. Synonyms are Kurjanto, Szalacska Gyöngye and Urret Gyöngye. The cross was made in Hungary in 1916 by the breeder Pál Kocsis. The vine is used as a wine grape.
