Urbana

There are two different grape varieties of this name, both originating from the USA:

Concord O. P

The white grape variety is an open-pollinated seedling of Concord (for this reason the paternity is unknown). It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and possibly Vitis vinifera. The variety is mainly used as a table grape. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

Governor Ross x Mills

The white grape variety (also New York 3518) is an interspecific new breeding between Governor Ross x Mills. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1899 by the breeder S. A. Beach at the Vine Breeding Institute of Cornell University in Geneva (New York). The rosy-berried vine is mainly used as table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson Kym statistics).
