The winery is located in the municipality of Ziersdorf in the south-west of the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Weinviertel. The traditional family has been resident here since 1849. A wine tavern and guest rooms are attached. The business is run by Leopold Uibel junior, who completed an internship abroad at the Californian winery "Chateau Montelena" in Napa Valley after his apprenticeship. He is assisted by his brother Martin, and his parents Leopold and Christine are responsible for the vineyard. The vineyards cover 7.5 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Berg, End des Berges, Gansberg, Hundsberg, Katzensprung and Schall on the south side of the Köhlberg. They are 75% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Rivaner, Frühroter Veltliner and Chardonnay, and 25% with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Zweigelt.
