A fashionable aperitif popular in the 1920s that belongs to the group of long drinks. To a glass of sparkling wine or champagne (two thirds, 10 cl), a shot of red wine (one third, 5 cl) is added, from which the colour and the name are derived. Pinot Noir is preferred. The drink is served very cold in a champagne glass.
