Tube wine

Designation (also bag wine) for a wine filled in bag-in-boxes (foil bags/cartons) or Tetra Pak. The formerly clearly pejorative term for very simple wines (also draught wine or mass wine) has gained a completely different meaning, however, because since August 2009 quality wines may also be bottled in this form within the European Union.
