Triumphtraube

The white grape variety (also Triumphrebe) originates from Germany. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is a presumably natural cross between Madeleine Angevine x Malingre Precoce (Précoce de Malingre). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics for details). It is a parent of the Bonarda di Piava variety. The vine should not be confused with the varieties Triumph or Triumph of Alsace (Triomphe d'Alsace). No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
