Triumphtraube

The white grape variety (also known as Triumphrebe) originates from Germany. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is a presumably natural cross between Madeleine Angevine x Malingre Precoce (Précoce de Malingre). However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). A direct descendant is the Bonarda di Piava variety. The vine must not be confused with the varieties Triumph or Triumph from Alsace (Triomphe d'Alsace). No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
