The Italian winery is located in the municipality of Agliano Terme (province of Asti) in the Piedmont region. The manor house was built in the first half of the 19th century by the Barons Visconti of Ornavasso and bought by the brothers Secondo and Serafino Trinchero in the 1920s. Viticulture was started in 1925. Today the estate is managed by Renato and Ezio Trinchero. It produces the DOC wines Barbera d'Asti (La Barslina, Vigna del Noce), Freisa d'Asti (Runchet), Grignolino d'Asti and Monferrato, as well as several Vino da Tavola.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
