Trautberg

single vineyard in the municipality of Castell (Steigerwald area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The south to southwest-facing vineyard with a slope of 10 to 15% covers almost five hectares of vineyards on gypsum-keuper soil. The varieties cultivated here include Silvaner and Traminer. The vineyard is solely owned by the Fürstlich Castell'sches Domänenamt wine estate.
