Spanish term (also tostado = roasted, dried) for a wine similar to a Trockenbeerenauslese, which is made from dried grapes. After the grape harvest, the grapes are stored in warehouses and roasted in hot air ovens. Vinification does not begin until January of the following year. The wine corresponds to the Italian Passito.
