Tinta Mesquita

This red grape variety comes from Portugal. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2020, it comes from a presumably natural cross between Marufo x Vinhão. It is grown in small quantities in the Norte region. In 2016, 1.2 hectares of vines were reported (Kym Anderson statistics).
