Tihanyi Kék

The red grape variety originates from Hungary. The parentage is unknown. Nothing is known about possible genetic relationships with the white varieties Szekszárdi (Tihany Kék). Szeredi (Tihanyi Kék) or Tihanyi is not known. It is grown in tiny quantities in the Etyek-Buda area. In 2016, 0.1 hectare of vineyard was designated (Kym Anderson).
