Term used in the English-speaking world (tier = range) for a multi-level system of wine lines (also line = line, label = label or range = product collection), which refers to wine brands or the trade line of a producer or retailer. There are designations such as "top tier wines", "second tier wines", "lower tier wines", "medium tier wines" and others. This is also used to differentiate between grapes or wines from the producer's own winery and those bought in: "estate tier wines" (own production) and "reserve tier wines" (bought in).
