thin

Negative description for the deficient overall impression (also flat, with little body, flat, weakly breasted, low in substance) in the context of a wine appeal. It has little body, extract and aroma and tastes watery. However, this is not a synonym for a light (low-alcohol) wine. Related terms are emaciated, bland, over and hollow. Positive terms in this respect are alcoholic, rich in extract, full-bodied and bulky.
