The winery is located in Gevrey-Chambertin in the Burgundy region of Côte de Nuits(Côte d'Or). It is owned by Claude Dugat. The vineyards cover 3.5 hectares in Grands Crus (Charmes Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin) and Premiers Crus. It is vinified with whole grape fermentation without pure yeasts, long maceration and without filtration. The ageing is always done in new barriques. The red wine Griotte-Chambertin 1993 was judged by the US wine critic Robert Parker with 100 points.
