Testuz

The wine production and trading company J. & P. Testuz SA is located in the municipality of Treytorrens-Cully directly on Lake Geneva under the famous steep slope of the Dézaley vineyard in the Swiss canton of Vaud. The family has been based in Vaud for 450 years. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of their own vineyards, including a large part of the Lage Dézaley. An additional 40 hectares are leased and from another 20 hectares in the La Côte area, grapes are purchased from contract winegrowers. The white wine varieties Chardonnay, Chasselas, Pinot Gris and Riesling, as well as the red wine varieties Gamay, Garanoir, Pinot Noir and Syrah are processed into mostly varietal wines. Among the premium wines are the white wines "L'Arbalète" (Chasselas) from Dézaley, "Roche Ronde" (Chasselas) from Saint-Saphorin, "Le Coup de l'Etrier" (Chasselas) from Epesses, as well as the red wines "Terra Mater" - in German "Mutter Erde" (Pinot Noir and Gamay) from Dézaley and "Grand Croix" (Pinot Noir). Around 4.5 million bottles of wine are produced annually.
