Terret Bouschet

The red grape variety is a new variety between Petit Bouschet x Terret Gris. This was confirmed by DNA analyses in 2013. The crossing was made in France in 1858 by the breeder Henri Bouschet. However, the variety is no longer significant; in 2016 no stocks were recorded (Kym Anderson).

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
