IGT area (land wines) for white, red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Liguria. It covers four hectares of vineyards in the province of Imperia. The main grape varieties with at least 40% are Pigato and/or Vermentino (Bianco) and Dolcetto and/or Rossese di Campochiesa (Rosso). The rest can be other authorised varieties. Different for each wine type, a minimum alcohol content is prescribed, but (except Passito with one year) no maturation periods.
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
