Popular name for the northeastern part of the Burg Cochem area (formerly Zell) in the German Moselle growing region. The name refers to the mostly terraced slopes with extreme inclination, which are among the steepest in the world. The name was coined by Reinhard Löwenstein(Heymann-Löwenstein).
