The winery is located in the municipality of Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). The origins date back to 1970, when Matthias Temer Jr. and Anneliese Temer started bottling and marketing wine. Today, the business is run by their son Christian Temer, assisted by his brother Alexander. The vineyards cover over four hectares of vineyards in the Grossfeld, Heideboden, Hengstgruber and Strassacker vineyards in the municipalities of Gols, Podersdorf and Weiden on the eastern shore. They are 55% planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent, and 45% with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Weißburgunder and Grüner Veltliner.
